Kodama

Hanabi’s first FRC robot is named “Kodama.”
The name was inspired by the theme of the
FRC 2024 season, “Crescendo,” which centered on sound.
“Kodama” is a Japanese word that
refers to an echo or reverberating sound, such as a mountain echo.

Just as sound resonates through space and returns,
we hope that Hanabi’s presence and challenges will remain in
people’s hearts and resonate within them.
This name embodies our wish to create a strong,
first-year impact
—one that lingers and continues to echo beyond the moment.
