Through our activities at Hanabi, we gain knowledge and skills while igniting the spark of a creative making culture worldwide. Hanabit is a fusion of Hanabi and Habit, symbolizing a continuous cycle: 'Get' (learning) and 'Give' (sharing that learning to inspire others). Moving forward, we will continue to take on new challenges, engaging children and our local community, fostering a cycle where learning sparks new learning.

FRC Team Hanabi is a team dedicated to expanding the potential of people and society through robot building.
The challenge we pursue through the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is not merely about technical skill or competitive results. It is a global educational program designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders, grounded in values such as creativity, collaboration, and respect for others.
Guided by FRC’s core principles of Gracious Professionalism® and Coopertition®, Hanabi has consistently embraced a mindset that balances winning with learning, and competing with supporting one another. We believe that true growth comes from holding both in harmony.
The name “Hanabi” reflects our aspiration to be more than a momentary flash of brilliance. Like fireworks that ignite one spark after another, we hope our challenges will inspire new sparks, spread outward, and continue to light the way for others. Our goal is to create a chain of inspiration—where one challenge leads to another, and learning is passed forward.
Beyond robot development, we actively engage in outreach initiatives, educational support, and collaboration with local communities and industry partners. Through these efforts, we strive to demonstrate that technology gains its true value only when it is connected to people and society. This belief lies at the heart of everything we do at Hanabi.
As students, our abilities may be limited. Yet it is precisely because we are students that we can challenge ourselves without fear of failure, and continue learning with curiosity and determination. We believe that this attitude itself is a powerful force in shaping the future.
Moving forward, FRC Team Hanabi will continue to connect with the world—guided by technology, creativity, and respect for people—while learning together and opening new paths toward the next generation.
