Hanabi is a robotics team that competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). To expand the reach of STEM across Japan, we believe that we must continue learning ourselves. FRC provides an environment where many different forms of learning exist and intersect.

We carry out events and speaking engagements across Japan on a daily basis. In addition to planning and hosting our own events, we are actively involved in volunteer activities, as well as exhibiting at and speaking at local community events.

Guided by Hanabi’s mission, we carry out activities to promote STEM education. Our efforts begin with improving the learning environment within our technical school and extend to hosting STEM-focused events and engaging with local communities. Through these initiatives, we aim to pass on a culture of making, spreading bright sparks of creativity across Japan.
